Good Display Of Blooms At Daffodil Show

Mcst of tire classes were well filled to provide a colourful display at the St John’s Church, daffodil show which was held at Greymouth this afternoon. The champion bloom of the show, which carried with it the St. John’s Cup, donated by Mrs J. Tennent, was won by Miss J. Craig, who also gained a number of other placing's in the 'various sections. The trophy for the exhibitor gaming the most points in the cut flower section was won by Mrs J. Tennent, but the award of the trophy in the decorative section had not been made when the Evening Star went to press. The- judge for all sections was Mr H. H. Buchanan. In connection with the flower show, members of the Presbyterian Women’s Guild conducted various stalls and a tea rooms.
