33 DEATHS IN TRAIN SMASH: SABOTAGE SUSPECTED CAUSE

NEW DELHI, August 13 (Rec. 11 a.m.). —Sabotage is suspected to have caused a train crash on the East India railway, about 40 miles east of Benares today in which 33 persons were killed and 200 were injured. An express train from Calcutta to New Delhi crashed into the wagons of a derailed goods train on the same track.

One pail' of fishplates, four bolts and some screws were found to have been removed from a section of the track on a small bridge where the accident occurred.
