SUVA, August 13 (Rec. 2 p.m.).—The R.N.Z.A.F. Catalina which- was badly damaged when it hit an unsuspected reef at Villa, in the New Hebrides, on August 9 was floated off with the tide and beached by the aircrew yesterday. „ The flying-boat left Suva on August 8 ±oi Villa and Honiara with 10 passengers, including the Resident Commissioner for the Bntisn Solomon Islands Protectorate, Mr H. <-r.
