GOLF Waitahu Club Matches
The following players will represent the Waitahu Golf . Club iff matches against Murchison .on Sunday. A four-ball match of over 12 holes commencing at approximately 9 a.m. will be played in the morning and singles over 18 holes in the afternoon. W. G. Porter, W. Penington, C. D. Doyle, A. Barnett, E. Patterson, E. C. Dobson, J. Lee, J. Weir, A. Barnett, G. Crossman, G. Millar, A. McKenzie, W. Lockington. Any of the above players who are unable to play are asked to notify the secretary immediately. • The following club, matches will also be played, commencing at 1 p.m. on Sunday:— . Semi-final, • Brewery Cup.—August and Panckhurst v Jensen and Burtt; Penington and Schroeder v Bisset and Buckley.. Mugs Spoon semi-final: Featherston and Ross v O’Flaherty and Hannah. The following are the results of Osborne Rose Bowl matches played last week-end:—Panckhurst defeated Hannah; Rosanowski defeated Jensen; Schroeder defeated Featherston.
