West Coast Passes In Nursing Examinations
WELLINGTON, July 27 (P.A.).— The Nurses’ and Midwives' Board today announced the list of passes and partial passes in the State examination in nursing, held in June, 1950.
Miss K, M. Hawker, who secured honours in all four sections, placed Christchurch at the top for the Dominion. The list of successful West Coast candidates is as follows: —
Greymoulh Hospital.—Pass: Osbor, Marion June. Partial pass: Robertson, Joyce Helen. Hokitika Hospital.—Passes: Kortegast, Joan, Sophia; Larcombe, Nancy Patricia; Parker, Lillian Joyce. Westport Hospital.—Pass: Start, Elaine. \ The following West Coast candidates obtained passes or partial passes in the State final examination for phychiatric nurses, held m June, -1950. . Seaview Hospital, Hokitika.— Passes: Constantine, Norman Warburton; Hillary, Dawn Melba; Reade, Eileen; Smyth,- Kathleen Margaret.
Two Greymouth nurses who sat the State final examination at Christchurch were successful. They are Anne Josepha Agnes Dympnd and Mary. Teresa Ward, both of whom are now nursing at the Christchurch Hospital.
