Economic War Pensions: Question Of Increase
WELLINGTON, This Day (P.A.). •—The question of increasing economic war pensions to meet the higher cost of living resulting from the reduction in subsidies is being investigated by the Government,, it was stated in Wellington today. The war veterans’ allowances were raised recently, but.it is believed.that the more coinplex nature of economic pensions is the cause of the delay in their issue.' ' ' ' .
