NAVAL PRIZE MONEY
WELLINGTON, This Day (P.A.I— Payment of prize money to men who served in the Royal New Zealand Navy during the war and who are eligible for it will begin soon as a firm figure of the amount involved is received from the United Kingdom, it was stated at Wellington today. The allocation is not likely to be more than £5 apiece. The Air Force’s share of the prize money is being paid into a trust fund for distribution to any organisation which uses its funds fop the benefit of members or ex-members of the R.N.Z.A.F. or dependents of men who served in the R.N.Z.A.F. during the war.
