Captain J. McLernon, of the staff of National Airways Corporation at Hokitika,, left yesterday on transfer to Wellington. ■ Advice was received in Greymouth this afternoon of the sudden death in Auckland of Mr George Morton Smith, managing director of John Burns & Co. Ltd.
