LABOUR MINISTER DOES NOT EXPECT EARLY ELECTION
LONDON, June 12 (Rec 10 a.m.)— The British Food Minister, Mr Maurice Webb, today forecast that the Labour Government will continue in office well into next year. Mr Webb, who until recently was chairman of the Parliamentary Labour Party, told a meeting in London: “I am quite convinced now that the prophets of an early election are going to be entirely wrong. This Government will go much longer than a lot of people fear.
