Decameron
Decameron, who split winning honours with Neptune’s Daughter at Ashburton, is a three-year-old gelding by Defaulter from Night Cheloid, by Nightmarch from Cheloid, by Joculator from Cheloma, by Llangwu from' Chelys, by Sir Visto from Chelandry, by Goldfinch from Illuminata, by Rosicrucian. Chelys was the dam of Simper, from whom the late Mr W. T. Hazlett bred Gold Light, Razzle Dazzle, Dazzling Light, Beacon Light, Glad Light, Lucky Light, Speed Light, Ruling Light and Sir Simper.
