NURSING AWARDS TO STAFF AT GREY HOSPITAL
To mark the services given to the hospital by nurses, the Grey .Hospital Board towards the end of last year decided to adopt a policy of making its own annual awards. The successful nurses were selected by the staff principals for work in the hospital and also in examinations. The first awards under the new scheme were recently announced. The prize for gaining top marks in the hospital final examinations has been awarded to Nurse B. Lang, who was also placed on the honours list in the State nursing examinations. Nurse C. Grice received the prize for the best practical nurse, third year. The award for the best practical nurse in her- second year was made to Nurse N. Rudkin, and the award for the best practical firstyear nurse to Nurse D. Shaw.
