The following weather forecast was issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, at noon today:— Situation: A weak ridge of high pressure is over New Zealand; a depression is over the-western Tasman. Forecast to 5 p.m. tomorrow. Northerly winds becoming fresh and backing 'to south-west tomorrow; weather unsettled with rain tonight and in the morning but later clearing gradually, temperatures moderate. Further outlook: Mainly fair.
