FURTHER INVITATION TO COAST BOXERS
Though they were not available to take part in the first trials held to assist the selection panel in choosing the boxing team to represent New Zealand at the Empire Games in Auckland next February, two West Coast boxers have been invited to appear in the final trial to be held at Palmerston North on Saturday, December 10.
The two boxers, M. Tuck (middleweight) and B. Eder (welter-weight), will be unable to accept the invitations, however, Tuck because of a still-present back injury, and Eder because he has had no experience at fighting in the welterweight division.
