SECRET MEETINGS OF ATLANTIC PACT GROUP
PARIS, November 8 (Rec 3 p.m.). —The Mediterranean group of the Atlantic Pact will have a permanent military working staff in Italy, according to a communique issued today, after secret meetings, held in Paris, between the Defence Ministers of Britain, France and Italy. The headquarters of the regional group will be in Paris.
The communique also stated that, after the first meeting of the Ministers, the Chiefs of Staff of the three Powers met American military representatives.
The three Defence Ministers will hold their next meeting in Rome.
