LAWN TENNIS N.Z. WOMEN’S TEAM TO FLAY IN N.S.W.
WELLINGTON, Sept. 23 (P.A.).— The New Zealand women’s tennis team to play in New South Wales wilL leave Auckland by the Wanganella on October 27. The team is:--Misses E. Attwood (Auckland), J. Burke (Taranaki), M. Kerr (Otago captain), B. Potter (Auckland), J. MacGibbon (Canterbury), and-E. Becroft (Auckland). Mr Arthur 11. Richards, chairman of the management committee of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association, is manager. The tour will begin with a series of matches with New South Wales Country districts. There will be a match against a New South Wales team, and the team will finally compete in the New South Wales championships, beginning on November 17. . . , Mr Richards was reappointed chairman, and Mr R. P. Cooper deputy-chairman at a recent meeting of the management committee of the association.
