Snowy River Dredge,— Following is the latest return: 143 ounces, 260 hours, 45,000 yards. Martha (Waihi). —-For the fourweekly period ended September 10, the mine operated on 20 days, crushing 8244 tons of ore, for 2747 fine ounces of gold and 21,919 fine ounces of silver.
London Silver Price.—-The London price of silver was reduced today from 64d to 62Jd an ounce. The new price for tungsten is 85s to 100 s—London, September 22. Wilson’s Malt.—The directors announce an interim dividend, of 3 per cent.—(P.A.)
Tooheys, Limited.— Directors announce a final half-year dividend of 4 per cent., making 8 pei- cent for the year, payable September 30. The company shows a small improvement of £943 to £150,107 in net profit for the year ended July 31. Gross profit of £2,451,930 is an increase of £331,292.—(P. A.) Frozen Products. — The net profit of Frozen Products for the year ended June 30 was £4927, against £4031 the previous year. An unchanged dividend of 5 per cent., plus a bonus of 1 2-3 per cent, to mark the company’s twenty-fifth year takes £5OOO, leaving a carry-forward of £944, against £lOl7 brought in. The gross profit was £23,814, against £19,716. — (P.A.)
