Australian Cricket Team
The Australian Cricket Board of Control decided in Sydney last week to approve a New Zealand tour by an Australian second eleven, late in the coming season. It decided also that the three-day match against New Zealand in Dunedin, beginning on March 17, should not have test match status. The team will leave Sydney for New Zealand on February 9, by ship,, for Wellington. The itinerary is as follows:—February 14-15, v Hutt Valley,
at Lower Hutt; February 17-21, Auckland. at Auckland; February 22-23, Waikato, at Hamilton; February 25-27, Taranaki, at New Plymouth; March 46, Canterbury, at Christchurch; March 7-8, South Canterbury, at Timaru; March 10-11, Otago, at Dunedin; March 14-15. South Island, at Invercargill; March 17-18-20, New Zealand, at Dimedin; March 22-23, Manawatu, at Palmerston North; March 25-27, Hawke’s Bay. at Napier; March 29-30, Wairarapa, at Masterton; April 1-2-4, Wellington, at Wellington.
