Coast Hydro Prospects “If new power schemes are to be investigated in New Zealand, Inangahua should throw its hat into the arena,” said Cr C. Coxall, at yesterday’s meeting of the Inangahua County Council. He was urging that the council ask the Minister of Lands, Mr C. F. Skinner, to give consideration to the prospects of the dis.trict when the American expert on hydro-electric plants makes his forthcoming visit to New Zealand. It was pointed out at the meeting that an assurance had been ■ given that the Gowan river scheme (near Murchison) was to be proceeded with.
