Inquest Into Wairoa Case
1 NAPIER, This Day (P.A:).—The inquest into the death-of Herbert William Brunton, a pensioner, aged 69 years, at Wairoa, last December, is to be held oh October 5. Mr Brunton was! found in his hut, near the Wairoa railway station, brutally battered about the head on the morning of December 17 last, and the extensive police inquiries which followed included the taking of the fingerprints of nearly every person in Wairoa.
