The National Council of Churches announces that since 1945 it has forwarded £53,500 in cash and estimable goods, and 500 tons of clothing and footwear, to assist in European church programmes under the direction of the World Council of Churches. This is exclusive of hundreds of addresses distributed in New Zealand to people willing to send individual parcels.
