Flight From Alaska To Norway
Colonel Bernt Balchen, ot the united States Air Force, reached Oslo this afternoon, having flown non-stop over the North Pole from Anchorage, Alaska, in a Superfortress. He flew the 6000-mile route in 21hr 50mm. Colonel Balchen was the r pilot for Admiral Bvrd’s first Antarctic .expedition before York, September 18. ,
