COWS ON THE LINE DELAY TRAIN TRAFFIC IN NORTH
WELLINGTON, This Day (P.A.).— Two cows caused delay to train traffic, including both Auckland to Wellington expresses, near Wellington this morning.
The first cow, which w'as roaming the line inside the shorter Tawa Flat tunnel, was decapitated by a goods train.
As another goods train passed over the Ngahauranga Gorge bridge, a cow fell from an unlocked truck under the wheels of the wagon following and derailed this wagon.
