Notifiable Diseases
Two cases of tuberculosis, one ot scarlet fever, one of erysipelas, and one of paratyphoid were reported to the Department of Health from Canterbury .last week. One case of scarlet fever was notified from the West Coast.
Liverpool Mine Resumes The Liverpool State mine, which was idle yesterday, when the men returned home with a trucker whose lamp had been withheld by the management, resumed work this morning. The trucker, it is understood, was supplied with his lamp as usual this morning. . '
