Officers elected at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Taxi Proprietors’ Federation at New Plymouth were: President, Mr J. Doody (Christchurch); couficil, Messrs H. R. Angell, G. N. Inshore, and G. E. Higgins (Wellington), F. Smith and A. Sinclair (Auckland), A. Archer, H. Brien, and H. Newall (Dunfedin), R. Knipe (Hutt), M. Pommeroy (South Auckland), R. Marshall (Poverty BayEast Coast), D. Hopkins (Southland), W. E. Morris (Taranaki), J. A. Templeton (South Canterbury), D. G. Moffif (Napier), B. L. Corry (Palmerston North), and E. J. Roberton (Rotorua). It was decided to hold next year’s conference at Christchurch.—* (P.A.)
