Sir Adrian Boult Retiring
Sir Adrian Boult, conductor of the symphony orchestra, who has just returned from a visit to the United States, today announced that he would retire from his position with the 8.8. C. next June. Sir Ardian Boult will, however, conduct the 8.8. C. symphony orrhestra during a series of concerts to beliveh as part of the 1951 Festival of Britain.—London, September 1.
