Customs Guard Killed
LONDON, August 30 (Rec. 11.30 a.m.).—An Italian Customs z guard was killed on the Italian-Jugoslav border today by machine-gun fire on the Jugoslav side of the border, says the United Press correspondent at Udine. The guard’s body rolled downhill into Jugoslav territory. He was on patrol duty with a group of woodmen, who were cutting trees along the frontier.
