CZECH COMMUNIST ACCUSES THE WEST

LONDON, August 22 (Rec. 1 p.m.). —The Associated Press Prague correspondent says that a Communist Cabinet Minister, Mr Evzen Erban, today declared that the Western Powers had sent terrorists _ and assassins into Czechoslovakia in an attempt to get the country into the Western camp. Mr Erban, who is Minister of Works and Social Welfare, also said that Britain and the United States were attempting to resurrect Nazism in Germany as an aggressive force against Czechoslovakia. Referring to Britain’s part in the Munich Pact, under which Czechoslovakia ceded Sudetenland, Mr Erban said: “We never again will be the object of distant negotiations and treachery?’ -
