MARXIAN PARTY IN GERMANY TO BE OPPOSED TO SOVIET

BERLIN, August 21 (Rec. 3 p.m.). —Fifty former members of the German Communist Party and the Com-munist-dominated German Socialist Unity Party met today in an effort to form an anti-Soviet Marxian Workers’ Party. The meeting was attended by 20 delegates from the Soviet zone.

Mr Heinz Scholz, a former Communist Party, member, was chairman. A year ago, Mr Scholz tried to form Communist Party opposition in Berlin, but was refused a licence by the three Western commandants. Mr Scholz said a new application will be submitted to the Western Berlin City Administration. 4
