The following weather forecast was issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, at noon today:— Situation: A very deep depression is centred south-west of New Zealand. Forecast to 5 p.m. tomorrow: Moderate to fresh north-westerly
winds predominating; weather gradually becoming unsettled,
with rain tomorrow; temperatures moderate.
Further outlook: Continuing unsettled.
