GOVERNMENT HAS STARTED INQUIRIES
WELLINGTON, August 19 (P.A.). —When the cable message from New York was referred to the Minister of Finance CMr Nash) this /evening he said he had nothing to add to what he had said in the Budget. There he stated that the Government had instituted inquiries as to the availability on reasonable terms and conditions of loans from Canada and the United States. .
