CHRISTCHURCH, This Day (0.C.). —The outside of the course proper was made available for galloping this morning. The going was fairly fast early because of a frost, but ..became slower as the ground thawed out. .■ The bulk of the work was confined to useful tasks and there were only occasional reasonably fast sprints.
