Willis S.M. in the Magistrate s Court this morning when John Henry Silva, aged 32, a railway employee, of Dunback, appeared on four charges oi unlawful conversion of motor-vehicles and six of theft. Silva pleaded guilty to all charges and was sentenced to an aggregate of two and a half years in prison with hard labour. “You have been before the court on at least three other occasions for unlawful conversion,” said Mr Willis, as well as on numerous charges of breaking, entering theft and general dishonesty.
