Chatham Islanders Go To Auckland
Fifteen Chatham Islanders paid an unexpected visit to Auckland* last evening when the National Airways Sunderland, Takitimu, which was taking them from the Chatham Islands to Wellington, was diverted to Auckland because of bad weather. Accommodation was hastily arranged for them at two city hotels; and they will fly to Wellington today.—(P.A.)
