TRAVELLING PASS FOR WAR AMPUTEES
WELLINGTON, This Day (P.A.). —ln response to representations by the New Zealand 'Amputees’ Association, the Minister of Defence, Mr Jones, has arranged that as from October 1,. all war pensioners in receipt of permanent full war disability pensions will be enabled to travel .by Railways or Railway Road Services on the production of a special pass for inspection by the guard of the train 6r the driver of the' bus. These«special passes will be issued in due course by the department to all pensioners holding 11.117 passes. This procedure will obviate the Necessity of producing a P. 33 K. ticket.as at present,
