NATIONAL ORCHESTRA TO VISIT HOKITIKA

Hokitika will be included in the itinerary of the National Symphony Orchestra when it tours minor towns of the South Island in October. This advice was received from the Director of Broadcasting, Mr W. Yates, by the Hokitika Arts Council who, in conjunction with the Mayor of Hokitika, Mr A. E. Perry, had made representation for such a visit.
