Broadcast Of League Match
A decision to apply to the National Broadcasting Service for the representative match between West Coast and Canterbury at Victoria Park, Greymouth, on August 13 to be broadcast by 3YZ, Greymouth, was-- made by the Board of Control of the West Coast Rugby League at its weekly meeting last evening. The secretary, Mr T. F. McKenzie, said that he had approached the West Coast Rugby Union and had been informed that' no objections would be raised. College Football Outplayed in the forwards, Christ’s College was lucky to win its sixty-fourth-annual match with Otago Boys’ High School, played at Christchurch yesterday. The home team scored a converted trv in the last 10 minutes of the game to make the final score 13-11. Each side scored three tries, two of College’s and one of Schools being converted.
