British Communist Sympathy With Eisler
LONDON, May 22 (Rec. 2 p.m.).— British Communists demonstrated today behind Brixton Prison, in southwest London, against the detention there of the German-born Cpmmunist, Gerhard Eisler, who awaits the hearing on Tuesday of an American application for extradition. Loud-speakers were directed towards the rear of the prison, where faces could occasionally be seen at the barred windows. The meeting passed off quietly.
