Further special awards made at the Westport Competitions Society s festival. which was held last week, were as follows: — , Dalefield Challenge Cup, vocal solo under 18: Lorraine Margaret Graham. Bell Medal, pianoforte solo, under 12: Betty Bruhn (Greymouth. Miss F. HayMcKenzie’s Medals for Highland Fling under 12 and operatic dance under 12. Margaret Steel (Christchurch) and Valerie Harris (Greymouth).
