GOLF IKAMATUA SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP WAS WON BY S. E. COX

S. E. Cox won the Ikamatua .senior championship on Sunday, and although the scores returned were not particularly good, steady play gave Cox a comfortable win. ■ As predicted, T. Pfahlert started the season well by winning the Intermediate championship with a score good enough for him to have qualified in the senior division. This player has a golf future and with good coaching will go far. Sand bunkers have again been introduced at the Greymouth links and these will be ready for play this week-end. Players will need to brush up their knowledge of bunker, play and rules.
