‘PURGE” OF PRIESTS IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA
PRAGUE, March 13. Roman Catholic priests in the diocese of Brno are to be purged, of “anti-State elements” by the Clerical Action Committee, according to the Brno newspaper Nova Politika. It says: “The Action Committee has decided to carry out immediately a purge of all priests who want to overturn the people’s democratic republic.” x . This is the first such action to be reported in Czechoslovakia.
