Mails For Britain

Surface mails for the United Kingdom, Eire, and Europe, except the Balkan States and Italy, will close at the Chief Post Office, Greymouth, at noon on Saturday, March 19, and at 5.30 p.m. on Thursday, March- 24. Notifiable Diseases

A gift of £lOO towards the cost of a peal of bells for St Peter’s Cathedral, Hamilton, has been promised by the board of management of the Jewish community in Canterbury, according to advice received by the organiser of the appeal (Dean C.
