CLASH IN MILAN: POLICE AND FARMER PARTISANS
(Rec 10.35 a.m.) ‘ ROME, February 27. More than 20 people were injured during a two-hour fight between former partisans and police in Milan today. About 10,000 former partisans listened to speakers attack the Government for releasing from prison a former Fascist commander, Prince Valerio Borghese. When the crowd tried to march through the police cordons, the police threw tear-gas bombs, used truncheons and drove jeeps among the marching men. Demonstrations also took place in Rome, Florence and other cities.
