Arahura —Kanieri. — These two dredging units of Gold Mines, New Zealand, Ltd, won a total of 974 ounces of gold during the first half of October. Arahura won 4240 z from 117,00 cubic yards in 228 hours, and Kanieri dredge won 5400 z from 105,000 yards in 231 hours. Rimu Gold.—During the clean-up period, September 28 to October 12, this dredge secured a return of 141 crude ounces of gold from 37,796 yards in 162 hours. The September totals were: 443 ounces gold, from 118,292 yards material, in 500 hours. National Bank Affairs.—The National Bank of New Zealand, Ltd, has received the following cable advice from the National Bank of Australasia, Ltd, for whom they act as New Zealand agents: “The board of directors of the National Bank of Australasia has decided to recommend to shareholders, subject to audit payment, of a final dividend... of 3 J per cent, on both classes of shares, making a dividend for the year ended September 30 of 6A per cent. The net profit for the year was £528.252. — ( RA -> Donaghy’s Rope.—This company has declared an interim dividend of 9d a share, payable November 5 — (P.A.) Trustees’ Executors. —Advice has been received that a a meeting of directors of the above company, an interim dividend of 3 per cent, was declared, payable on October 22. — (P.A.) Sharland and Company, Ltd.—Advise has been received that at a meeting of the directors it was decided to recommend to shareholders at the annual meeting on November 5 payment of a final dividend of 2| per cent., plus a bonus of 3 pes ent., on all shares of the company, free of social security tax, and a similar dividend and bonus on new capital paid up to 10s a share.
