RUGBY FOOTBALL Mr A. McDonald May Instruct West Coast Club Coaches
Tentative arrangements have been made by the West Coast, Rugby Union for a visit to Ihe district early next season by Mr A. McDonald, of Wellington, one of this season s New Zealand selectors and a successful coach. Mr McDonald has. consented to make the visit which will probably extend over a fortnight. This was reported at a meeting of the West Coast Union this week. It is the union’s intention to reorganise the Coaches Association, with a view to having Mr McDonald address coaches of all clubs. The union decided to write a letter of congratulations to Mr W. A. Meates on his selection in the All Black team to tour South Africa.
