Dust Passes Over Auckland
The great cloud of dust from eastern Australia had thinned to little more. than haze when it passed over Auckland yesterday [morning, carried on a westerly wind at about 15 knots. The dust took three days to cover the 1300 miles across the Tasman Sea. The first of the dust came in over, Auckland about 5 a.m. and drifted over the city for about five hours. (P.A.)
