Mr James Cable was elected presi-
dent of the New Zealand Employers’ Federation at the annual meeting at Wellington yesterday. The -immediate past-president is Mr Percy Coyle. The federation elected Mr W. G. V. Fernie vice-president. The., following executive was elected: Messrs J. A. C. Allum (Auckland Employers’ Association), C. R. Nicholson (Otago Association), S. J. Sullivan and T. P. Hart (North Island associations), H. R. Russell (South Island associations), D. Smith, A. Rowlands, G. Roach, G. G. McFarlane, and A. Seed (trade and other members).—(P.A.)
