CRANSTON MURDER CASE HEARING
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. About 30 witnesses will be called by the police when Edward Raymond Horton, aged 20, a blacksmith’s striker, appears on remand in the Magistrate’s Court tomorrow on a charge of murdering Mrs Katherine Cranston, whose body was found on Mount Victoria on September 26. The hearing will probably last all day. If necessary, arrangements may be made to continue the case into the evening. '
