MILNER. — On August 17, 1948 at the Grey Hospital, Arthur Henry Milner, in his 83rd year., Native of Wigan Lancashire, England. The funeral will leave Sampson’s Chapel at 1.30 p.m. Thursday, following a service at 1.15 p.m.—Sampson’s Funeral Service Ltd (Gordon Patterson), Funeral Directors. /
MATTHEWS—On August 16, 1948, at Greymouth, Lewis, husband, of the late Hannah Matthews, and beloved father of Mrs C. King, 60 Shakespeare street, Greymouth; in his 72nd year; native of Yorkshire, and late of Petone. The funeral will leave the Chapel of J. R. Croft, Lower Hutt at 2 p.m. Friday, for the Taita Cemetery. —Bellamy’s (Arthur King and Les Patterson), Funeral Directors.
