E.G. Walker In Final South Island Trial
(P.A.) DUNEDIN, August 15. I Fourteen Otago players have been named for the final South Island All Black Rugby trial in Christchurch on September 11. Of the 16 Otago players who were chosen for the southern group trial at Dunedin, the only two whose names have not gone forward are J. M. Tanner and P. Johnstone, who were injured in Saturday’s match. The New Zealand selectors, Messrs A. McDonald, N. A. McKenzie, and |H. S. Strang, announced the’ following teams for the final trial:— POSSIBLES full-back: G. J. Moore (Otago). Three-quarters: I. J. Dotting (Otago), M. P. Goddard (South Canterbury), W. A. Meates (Otago).
