New Wrestling Rules?

There is a possibility that United States rulings for amateur wrestling will be adopted in New Zealand. The Auckland Wrestling Association, which has received a draft of those applying in U.S. National Collegiate Athletic Association competition, contemplates putting them into effect. When this matter was referred to Mr Bert Steel (secretary of the Dominion Wrestling Union) he informed a Wellington renorter that he had not yet seen the draft. Mr Steel said that until the national officials had thoroughly examined the rules they would not be adopted.
